The letter, dated October 7, came from one of the teenagers who had dined at the restaurant for their homecoming celebration. The letter read, “You were the best waiter we could ask for. You were kind, helpful, accommodating, didn’t treat us like babies, and were even able to fit the food to all my allergies! So I wanted to say thank you for making our ‘grown-up’ experience so amazing and fun.”
The teenager further explained that, being unfamiliar with the dining etiquette, their group had inadvertently left a meager $3.28 tip, not realizing the significance of tipping or the appropriate amount.
