Karma is something that is inevitable. In Buddhism, it is believed that all your actions, thoughts and words are having their own reflections. It is always better to have a proper idea of Karma because then we can prevent ourselves from getting engaged in bad deeds. This article will make you aware of the 11 laws of Karma that will affect your life in various ways.
1. The great law; “As you sow, you shall reap”.
Newton’s third law states that for every action there is a reaction equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. The same thing is put forwarded by the great law of Karma too.
If you engage in good deeds and turn your thoughts into a better side so as not to hurt even a single creature, you will also be treated with the same goodness from everyone around you. No one will think of hurting your feelings and you will be able to have a peaceful and calm life.
But if your thoughts and actions are always turned on for bad things and if you only engage in bad deeds. Of course, you will also be treated with such evil and bad things.
Sometimes you might not experience the results sooner but they will surely have an effect and will effect may be in your next birth.
2. The law of creation; “What we desire comes through participation”
Our happiness and sadness are created by our own selves. Though outside circumstances may create the background for our moods and thoughts, we all have the power to create our own realm. So, it is always good to surround ourselves with positive people and positive vibes. We will be able to control our destiny by doing little things to make our lives better.
3. The law of humility; “Refusal to accept what is, will still be what is”
We all like to make ourselves comfortable with lies and flatteries. We enjoy lying as long as we are not the ones who are deceived and the truth is that no matter how much we lie or how much we feel better with lies, the reality is always the reality. no one or no any force can deny the hidden truth in the world and that is why it is always better to accept the truth and be honest.
4. The law of growth; “Our own growth is above any circumstance”.
Our thoughts and actions have a direct impact on our lives. It is us who can decide our future and our growth. If we decide to embark on victory, nothing will be there to stop us from reaching success. Also, if we surround ourselves with pessimism, then there will again be nothing to make us happy and positive.
5. The law of responsibility; “our lives are of our own doing, nothing else”.
Who we are and what we have been doing so far is the responsibility of our own selves. We cannot blame anyone or anything or praise anyone or anything for the current situation we are in. it is our own doing and therefore is our own responsibility. That is why it is said that ‘your life is a reflection of what you think and what you do’.
6. The law od connection; “Everything in the universe is connected, both large and small”.
All the things around us, as well as all the circumstances happening around us, are connected to each other. Our past, present, and future are all linked and therefore, if you need to have a better future, you should do your best to make your present life better.
7. The law of focus; “one cannot direct attention beyond a single task”.
You can achieve many things at one time. When you surround yourself with gloominess, you will never be able to achieve happiness and in the same way, you cannot achieve a spiritual growth while having pessimistic thoughts on your head. so try to focus on one thing at a time and achieve it first.
8. The law of hospitality and giving; “Demonstrating our selflessness shows true intentions”.
Happiness lies in giving and not in having. You will realize the worth of being selfless when you start to give away things and as much as you are selfless, you will have fewer worries in life and more happiness.
9. The law of change; “History repeats itself unless changed”.
Everything in the world is happening in a cyclic way. So, history can surely be repeated and that is why we should take a step to change results that can happen in the future.
10. The law of here and now; “The present is all we have”.
Worrying over the past mistakes and dreaming of the future impossibilities is the worst thing that anyone can do. We cannot change the things that happened in past or predict the upcoming events. So, it is always better to live in the present moments and make this moment perfect. But, of course, it is good to take lessons from the past to prevent future mistakes.
11. The law of patience and reward. “Nothing of value is created without a patient mindset”.
You will be rewarded with many things in life if you can practice patience. The more you can tolerate the sadness, the more you will be strong. The more you can endure difficulties, the more you will have the courage to keep your head strong. So, patience is a great thing that one should practice in life.
