What do wildlife photographers do when they need a rest? A nap, yes, it is. Can they be attacked by a wild animal while napping? Oh no. you do not believe this. This man, named Dolph Volker, works as a volunteer at the Cheetah Experience in South Africa which, is the non-profit home of endangered and threatened species, including cheetahs, leopards, male non-breeding lions, servals, caracals, African wildcats, wolves, meerkats, and a Siberian tiger.
He is a wildlife photographer and a zoologist. After the death of his loving dong in his hand, he decided to do his best to fight for animal rights and raise awareness for endangered species to recover from the sorrow.
He often spent his vacation with cheetahs. They are very shy, animals and he had to work hard to befriend them.
One day he took a nap under a tree after being in the sun for a long time. A cheetah named Eden saw him and decided to cuddle him. Dolph was speechless when he opened his eyes. Eden saw him as their species; she purrs, sniffles, cuddles, nibbles, and even naps with him. Dolph is now spending most of the time with them and is even known as “ The Cheetah Whisperer.”
