An NYPD officer encountered an animal in need while on duty, discovered by ilovemydogsomuch. Michael Pascale came across a small dog tied up in the rain in a public park, surrounded by dangerous objects. The dog looked pleadingly at the officer, prompting him to rescue it.
Officer Pascale refused to leave the dog behind and brought it to the Brooklyn ACC for temporary care. Despite the mandatory hold period, Michael assured the dog he would return. Eventually, after the hold ended, the officer was allowed to bring the dog home, promising to provide a safe and loving environment.
