Experiencing a heart attack can be a harrowing ordeal, with potential for life-altering consequences or even mortality. Tina Hines found herself confronting both aspects of this stark reality.
Tina, known for her active lifestyle and dedication to fitness, was gearing up for a hiking trip with her husband, Brian, when tragedy struck. Without warning, Tina collapsed, her body succumbing to a heart attack.
Brian vividly recalls the terrifying scene: Tina’s eyes remained open, rolled back into her head, her complexion turning a frightening shade of purple as she ceased breathing or making any sound.
Amidst panic, Brian sprang into action, administering chest compressions in a desperate attempt to revive his beloved wife. Paramedics rushed to the scene, swiftly transporting Tina to the hospital for urgent medical care.
Fearing the worst, Brian clung to hope, fervently praying for Tina’s survival. Miraculously, despite being clinically deceased for 27 minutes, Tina defied the odds and emerged from the brink of death.
In the aftermath of her near-death experience, Tina shared profound insights into what she encountered during her temporary departure from life. While many describe seeing a radiant light in such circumstances, Tina’s account transcends the conventional narrative, as she attests to encountering a realm that solidified her belief in the reality of Heaven.
Tina’s niece, Maddie Johnson, shared a post on social media about her new tattoo and her aunt’s near-death experience. She wrote, “A little over a year ago my Aunt Tina, one of the most amazing, discerning, and healthy people I know had an unexpected cardiac arrest and according to doctors had died and was brought back to life four times by my Uncle Brian and first responders before arriving to the hospital. She was put on a defibrillator and after miraculously waking up the first thing she did, unable to speak because she was intubated, was ask for a pen and in my cousins journal wrote ‘it’s real.’”
You might be asking, “What’s real?” According to Maddie, that’s what everyone in Tina’s hospital room was asking after seeing what she wrote. According to Maddie, Tina simply “pointed up to heaven.” After that experience, Maddie decided to have “it’s real” in her aunt’s handwriting tattooed on her wrist.
